We invite independent filmmakers to contact the New Milford Film Commission for the opportunity to be considered for the next "Screening Room" presentation present at our local theatre.

| The NMFC is hosting the Manhattan Short Film Festival at the Bank Street Movie Theatre (46 Bank Street, New Milford, CT) on Sunday, September 28, 2008. Showtime is 3PM and tickets are $10. People can call (860)210-2099 to reserve tickets. Space is limited, and the films are unrated, and may not be suitable for children. At the end of the show, theatre-goers will receive a ballot to vote for their favorite short film. The winner nationwide (and internationally), will receive proceeds from the tickets sales to finance a full-length feature film.

- The New Milford Film Commission has been very busy helping out with the filming of the Tim Allen comedy "The Six Wives of Henry Lefay". The film features Tim Allen, Andie McDowell, Elisha Cuthbert, and Jenna Elfman. The NM film commission is planning on having an early screening of the movie in the spring of 2008 at the Bank Street Movie Theatre!! Be sure to be on our mailing list to receive an email. The public of Connecticut will be able to view and vote on the 2006 Manhattan Short Film Festival New Milford this September 17, 2006 at 3:00pm. Ticket Prices are $10.00. The commission prefers that persons wishing to attend call 860-210-2099 to reserve seats.
